For those keeping track at home:

Microsoft's browser now pretends to be Google's browser, which pretends to be Apple's browser, which pretends to be Mozilla's browser. Meanwhile, they all pretend to be a different version of Mozilla's browser, which hasn't existed in decades.

What parts do still require you to restart Home Assistant?
    Aaron Parecki
Usually adding new sensors in the config file. Things don't seem to get picked up properly with the various subsystem restart buttons.

I'm looking forward to watching this, but I'm also frustrated because no one seems to have it in stock so I might actually buy it...
    Aaron Parecki
@DVEStore still has them in stock! I wish they had a referral program for all the links I've sent their way! https://www.dvestore.com/blackmagic-design-atem-mini/

I keep the original boxes for every piece of tech I buy. Which obviously means that when I need to ship something for repair or to sell it, that box is missing.

@aaronpk is OwnYourSwarm still working? I noticed your own check-ins are still syncing to your site… or does it (also) poll?
    Aaron Parecki
Yea sometimes Foursquare's web hooks just don't run. OYS polls periodically to backfill any that are missed. I saw some of mine today were missed in real-time and it caught up with them later.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
