I got to find out what “guaranteed room availability” with high hotel status means.

It means you’re paying 4x what everyone else in the hotel is paying, and you’re sleeping in the conference room.

No seriously, they put a cot in a conference room and charged me for it.

I do not understand why but people seriously love camcorder videos.

different market than DSLR/mirrorless. I use camcorders for filming 8-10+ hour a day events, when I wouldn't trust a mirrorless of a similar price point for that duration
