      @aaronpk id say with sd cards its less youre plugging it in backwards and more the fact that every manufacturer puts the bastard readers in at different angles meaning that you have to peer into it with a big torch to try and determine which way this specific device wants you to put it in

      @aaronpk my DSLR has CFII... That’s right its sooo old it uses Compact Flash. But reversible connectors sure are an upgrade.

      A micro adapter with contacts on both sides? Might be a bit wiggly because fewer registration surfaces, and you'd still have to plug the micro into the adapter the right way. Oh you were joking?
