The API docs are here: https://indielogin.com/api (it's almost exactly the same as indieauth.com for this use case)

I haven't opened up indielogin.com for general use yet since it's still in progress, that's why you're seeing the client_id error. If you're interested, I can whitelist a few domain names for you to test with for now.

    All crew,

We have updated our privacy policy for all Enterprise crew members.

The policy describes how we use internal sensors to generate a transporter signature of your brain and body at the quantum level, and when and how we transmit that info to third-party planets.

  • Dropping Twitter Support on IndieAuth.com

I've made the difficult decision to drop support for Twitter authentication on IndieAuth.com. Some time last week, Twitter rolled out a change to the website which broke how IndieAuth.com verifies that a website and Twitter account belong to the same person.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
