I cleaned up the duplicates after importing my Instagram photos. There was no shortcut. I had posted in both places or used OwnYourGram since launch. It only took an hour. A very pleasant hour, looking at favorite photos, now liberated from their silo.

Whoever this organization is and whatever it is they're doing, they're not doing it to or with or even in sight of the most active community of people who are trying to reinvent/decentralize social media right now.

ActivityPub was developed in literally the same W3C group that Webmention and Micropub were standardized in ;-) btw why no website in your twitter bio? Where can I follow your fediverse posts?
