Your enlightened thought of the morning: if you position yourself as a leader of the #IndieWeb and #MicroBlogging movements, maybe the URL of your #RSS Feed should not contain the words “something-demo.appspot.com” in lieu of your blog’s actual domain? 🤔

You're right. I just switched my Atom feed to be a local URL that redirects to Granary. The reason I don't want to generate my own XML feed is it's too hard to get right, especially with all the nontraditional content on my home page like checkins. #indieweb

  and thanks for the nudge on granary's domain! I'm moving it to granary.io. it's been up and stable with no real downtime since late 2013, but agreed, the old domain doesn't reflect that.

  I agree, generating proper feeds is a nightmare as soon as one veers from pure text, even though the new #JSON feed format looks quite appealing… 😵
