  The #indieweb is all about hosting things yourself, but actually I find doing so to be enormously stressful. Sysadmin-ing is a profession.
  

  @samwilson The #indieweb is all about owning your identity and being in control. You don't have to self-host to do that!

  @samwilson As long as you have the ability to pick up your content and move it elsewhere and keep the same URLs you're in control

  @samwilson We have that with simple web hosting but lost it with the rise of Twitter/Facebook/etc
