Just had two @RadioCab drivers cancel my pickup after they were already dispatched. Ugh, can we fix the cab situation in Portland yet?

I've never had issues with Radio Cab either, but I normally just take them to and from the airport. Funny enough, the driver who ended up taking me home gave me a great explanation of how the Radio Cab dispatch system works, and I invited him to be on our latest podcast episode. So that should be fun :-)

That is so odd… I have NEVER had an issue with Radio Cab picking me up and I use them pretty much every week. Perhaps because I only take them to the airport?

I gave up on radio cab a few years ago for the same reason :( I've had much better luck booking Broadway Cab online via Curb.

@aaronpk I have found that pdx is the type of town where tweeting you need a ride will usually result in one, no can companies needed

Actually it's more about the current taxi situation in pdx, only mentioning uber a couple times. I will let you know when it's out!

Yeah I thought the timing was particularly ironic. Also because I am editing a podcast episode about uber right now.
