    Presented at Spark Weekend Portland

    Description

Have you ever wanted to track your movements, sleep, what you eat, who you spend time with, and other interesting personal data? I'll be sharing the tools I've been using to successfully track various aspects of my life, as well as talk about the challenges many of the existing tools provide.

    Speaker Challenge

Choose one or two things about yourself want to track, and record data consistently for 30 days. These can be things tracked automatically such as steps, or tracked manually such as writing down what food you eat. At the end of the 30 days, share whether you were successful at tracking this consistently and share the challenges you faced while trying to collect this data.

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
