I built a robot that mixes drinks named Bar Mixvah. It utilizes an Arduino microcontroller switching a series of pumps via transistors on the physical layer
¾ oz. gin ¾ oz. green Chartreuse ¾ oz. maraschino liqueur, like Luxardo ¾ oz. fresh lime juice Twist of lime for garnish.
1 ounce London dry gin 1 ounce sweet vermouth 1 ounce green Chartreuse 1 dash orange bitters
2 ounces gin 1/2 ounce Green Chartreuse 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice, from 1 lime
Took a sip when I got home and I think I see your point-- it has a distinct bitter almond finish. I still think a lighter fruit liqueur is a better substitute, though, than a more almond-forward liqueur like amaretto.
