right now Twitter is a group of people trying to decide where to take the afterparty and we've agreed to either the east-side Denny's or the west-side Denny's, and all you hive folks are like "what if we went to iHop" even though it took 40 minutes to narrow it down to a Denny's

For anyone still wondering how content moderation is going to work on here now, here’s what Elon Musk said at an employee Q&A about his planned moderation council:

“This is an advisory council. I will hear what they have to say and I will either agree with it or I won’t.”

I feel like Mastodon is doing a great job, as is Discord. I was getting the word out on my blog, podcast, youtube, forums, and other platforms long long before Twitter existed. I think we will be OK. Always bet on the Open Web IMHO 😍

as sad as i am about the rapid destruction of twitter, the (re)surge in blogs and newsletters has been lovely
