The way I like to think about it is:

If the client knows when the AT will (likely) expire, it can proactively refresh the token.

There is nothing the client can do differently if it knows when the RT will (likely) expire.

Why is it that every time I click a link on my phone it opens a native app that fails to load the content I clicked on, but then when I am on a website and actually *want* the native app to open there's no way to make it actually do that
