Just got off a video visit with Elisabeth's rheumatologist. Because of today's ruling, his department is taking all their female patients off any meds with teratogenic risks, because such medicines might result in the miscarriage of any unplanned pregnancies they might incur. 1/

people on here going "oh honey of course they'll make exceptions for abortions where it's /necessary/" and meanwhile in reality they aren't making exceptions even for people who aren't pregnant

It feels strange to make fun videos about A/V gear when people I love and care about, and even total strangers who I'll never meet, are losing basic human rights and don't know what to do.

I also don't know what to do, but at the very least I can say that it hurts my soul.

I've definitely been lurking on the likes. Some people forget that they're public so when I see they keep liking the "praise be to god" posts, it's pretty easy to tell how they feel about it.

Forced birth in a country with:

—No paid family & medical leave
—One of the highest rates of maternal mortality among rich nations

This isn't about "life." It's about control.

No government, politician, or man should tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body. I want women in Canada to know that we will always stand up for your right to choose.

I stand in support of women, their right to choose for their bodies & anybody who stands for change against a broken system. I’ve never been political or vocal about my beliefs. But fuck this wholeheartedly. I am sorry to all the women in this country. You deserve so much better
