@aaronpk is an expert on streaming things but probably not with Linux but may have some ideas.
Might want to check out Companion https://bitfocus.io/companion/ which can control OBS and much more with a Stream Deck. I run it on a raspberry pi to control a bunch of devices on my network. -

@aaronpk have you ever seen a hdmi device that can flip signal horizontally and vertically. I’m trying to build a telemprompter out of display that doesn’t have v flip or h flip built-in
