It seems having a YT video as “members only” then releasing it public is a BAD strategy. It feels like it’s being treated like a week old video with the few members views it had, instead of a new video.
oof that's rough. Would an unlisted video with a members-only community post linking to it work instead? -

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. If I were designing something doing financial transactions (@paypal, @stripe, etc.), I would have been very nervous about this, but apparently that was not the case?
This is exactly why the financial industry is moving to private-key-based authentication with OAuth extensions like FAPI. It hasn't hit the consumer-facing financial APIs like PayPal/Stripe yet, but it's becoming more normal in the backend of these systems. -

An email I just received prompted this tweet. What's the consensus on NAB? Are you still not going? Yes, you. Right there. Reading this.
As I said, I like the experience, & talking to different companies, but if not many creators will end up there, I'll definitely take a pass.
I have flight and hotel booked but refundable. Currently planning on going as long as things don't change too much for the worse in the next couple weeks.
