I believe what you buy when you buy an NFT is a Hype Insurance Policy against FOMO. Strictly for people that want to present themselves as players.

I still don’t understand what exactly you’re buying with an NFT. You’re not buying the actual piece of art, you’re not even really buying anything that conveys ownership. So you’re buying a number to say you own the one number tied to the thing you don’t own?
    Aaron Parecki
actually I think you understand it precisely

Just got my #pk1stand from @aaronpk and @Inux3D for my @BMDesignPro ATEM Mini Extreme ISO - it went together really easily 👍🏻 & the 3D print quality is awesome 😎. Plus I reckon there should be room enough under there for my @bitfocusio CompanionPi 😀😀

I had this same question, and my personal conclusion was that if it's a main feature of the video then yes, but if it's just on camera, then no. Sweetwater sent me the SM7B, so if I do a review on it, then I'll click the box, but if I'm just using it in a video then I won't.

love that basecamp marketed itself on rejection of capitalism + "company culture" for literal decades to pivot into the purest form of capitalist, white enterprise where only your work matters, because inherently you are not a human, just means of production.

This is a sickening direction a lot of tech companies are taking and is the perfect recipe for a toxic and homogeneous work environment that rejects and punishes diversity.

I need a social clue for in-person discussion playing the same role as unmuting oneself on Zoom.
Raising a hand is too much, and relying on people reading generic body language is hit and miss... especially in our industry 😛

I had the same thought today, waiting patiently for my spot in the queue while listening to the arguments I was going to make unfold around me. Didn't want to interrupt, but did want to add my thoughts.
