I'm p sure a little RSS reader that has a little comment box and a “like” button under each item that send little web mentions would be the perfect set up for a wholesome, self-owned network

Folks, own a piece of NFT history: I am selling genuine hashed GUIDs produced by a vintage M1 and each is hand assembled in our artisanal shop.

Supplies are limited, bids start at 5,000 USD. Each GUID is unique and will never be produced again.

    Only serious inquiries.

Imagine a tech startup that let you watch Disney movies without paying Disney. You bet your ass there'd be an army of lawyers.

But this guy figured he could get away with basically that business model for recipes, because he's mostly stealing them from small-time women bloggers.

@TrishPhoto brought her "big dog" camera (Sony α7R III), but did not have a lens to capture the babies from a safe distance.

"I can fix this," she said and placed an order on @BHPhotoVideo for 2-day delivery.

It arrived last night, just in time. Thanks, @FedEx!

Committing to one camera system is saving me so much time, space, and money.

Batteries, media, lenses, color grading / matching, and camera decisions.

I’m also less afraid to take one with me because I have backups.

I sometimes feel the same way about buying almonds. There's gotta be 250,000 bags of almonds (smoked, roasted, salted, or spicy) just sitting uneaten in office kitchens. Have offices released their snacks to food banks?

is that everything including colour stuff, or just the gain, focus, blacks, and shutter speed? Even so, this is interesting and does make me more interested in SDI cameras for my various angles. Thanks for the heads up!
    Aaron Parecki
No idea, but definitely worth digging around for more info! Try checking the PTZOptics help site, they seem to have some info there.

Hmm, is there anyone you think could know for sure? Like sure I'd love to investigate but I'd rather spend money only on stuff that'll work correctly! Like I'll probably get the BMMSC for example.

I don't have any SDI cameras other than the Blackmagic studio camera, but I did find some mentions that the ATEM can control SDI PTZOptics cameras

Gah, that's frustrating. I was hoping that the converter would allow me to use any SDI camera with the ATEM camera control. Especially since the micro converter page says you can use an SDI camera and control it within ATEM.
    Aaron Parecki
You know now that you mention it, I'm not actually sure that's true. I haven't actually confirmed it but I assumed that based on how much their other products are locked into their own ecosystem.

@aaronpk hi Aaron, I'm currently looking into the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, and am thinking of getting some bidirectional 3G-SDI converters from Blackmagic to use full camera control on the ATEM. Do you know if this works with every SDI camera? And if not, what limitations there are
    Aaron Parecki
the converters should work with any SDI signal, but the camera control in the ATEM is only for the Blackmagic cameras
