There were 47,773 days between the first and second U.S. presidential impeachments, 7,669 days between the second and third, and 392 between the third and fourth. At this rate, the fifth should be in 6.4 days.

I get they are like "it looks like our outboard gear".... 99% of your users have never touched your outboard box... now is the time to give it a better layout, not limited by the physical realm of space constraints.

Hey, 2021 is the new 2020, amirite? So about your last email...

Sorry for the delayed reply, there's sort of a lot of democratic norms falling apart...

Thanks so much for reaching out! I missed this while I was covering the coup.

    Email openings of 2021:

Hi, hope you had a good break before the insurrection!
    Hope you're hanging in there!
Hope you're surviving ~gestures wildly at all this~!
Sorry to bother you as democracy crumbles, but wanted to follow up on the capitalist work that we must keep doing

The cost of buying a new iPhone every 2 years is the same as the cost of taking 5 pictures a day on 35mm film. Therefore, if you take more than 5 pictures a day with your iPhone, you come out ahead.

This tweet is brought to you by me finding a box full of old negatives.

Multidock is like $595. SSD 2TB around $199 each. Wall mount, around $100.

Cheaper than most other options and more useful.
    Aaron Parecki
that does sound pretty solid tbh

Smaller scale but I have $10k in Bitcoin locked in an encrypted file that I also lost the password to. Bought it for like $100 8 years ago. I can try as much as I want but no luck yet. Keeps me up sometimes.

Even smaller scale, in 2014 I converted some dogecoin to 0.05 BTC, then moved the BTC into a brainwallet. I have not been able to remember the key ever since. Now it's worth $1600.

make this into a movie where he has to retrace his steps from 10 years ago and reconnects with some long lost love that he thinks is the basis for the password but is not -- he loses the money but gains something more

It’s not censorship if an art gallery won’t take your piece, or a publisher doesn’t want your manuscript.

Why? Because you can go elsewhere. It’s not their responsibility to broadcast your message just because you asked.

They’re not the BBC, and you’re not the weather channel.
