Each time I dispute a copyright claim, because I already paid for a commercial license through a third party site, the claim is released. But it's SUCH a waste of time to have to do this over and over for my older videos.

oof that is rough! I have always been worried about this from stock music websites. The other ones don't seem to have this problem, so that's good enough reason to not use @Pond5!

That’s what LensVid is claiming. He posts somewhere between 2 and 6 paragraphs summarizing the video along with his links. He claims he puts lots of time into that “original content.” Sadly, it might be enough to convince Amazon.

I can tell you Curtis that I have reported my stolen videos with THEIR affiliate links to Amazon and each time Amazon has sided with me, the creator of the original video and closed those other affiliate accounts. Copyright video theft is a real concern for Amazon

The problem here is he is technically writing original content (summary of the video in his own words) and he's embedding the real YouTube video, so there's no intellectual property theft which would otherwise be an easy case to close.

He's not budging after talking with Iddo. His YouTube channel is https://www.youtube.com/user/LensVid He says that this is simply how the Internet game is played. He claims that Amazon Affiliates would have no reason to shut down his account as he's done nothing wrong.

Here's one from the associates policies:

"(r) You will not attempt to intercept or redirect ... traffic from or on, or divert commission income from, any site that participates in the Associates Program"
