Believe it or not the current times don’t impact it because it was always non-essential and bought by ppl with more disposable income.

That said, anything that taps into current culture tends to win.

There is a lot of opportunity right now that’s not saturated.

I wear a mask because if the experts are correct, I could potentially prevent someone from getting sick and dying. If the experts are wrong, the most I’m out is the inconvenience of wearing a piece of fabric on my face.

Apple has always acted as if the App Store is like some digital Nordstrom: expertly curated goods from exclusive top brands; a store you’re lucky to be able to shop in. When in reality it’s a flea market, full of scammy “free” apps with predatory in-app purchases and tawdry ads.
