Sorry to be thickheaded but how/why does adding Wyze Sense make it available in Node-RED. As near as I can tell, Node-RED doesn’t have any Wyze Sense nodes...?
Correct. Node-Red has a Home Assistant integration, and then anything you can make appear in Home Assistant will also be available in Node-Red -

Dear @AmericanAir,
After arriving back to LA from Indonesia, I was $275 EQDs under (yet 25K miles over) from maintaining status. You asked me to pay $1875 (?!) to keep status, so instead I booked a $400 rt ticket to Mexico for 24 hrs. Here’s how my fucking night went...
I've gotten several of those @AmericanAir "offer" emails and they are always just so ridiculously high. I kept ignoring them and finally got one last one which was just "here let us give you status for free for 3 months plzzz" -

Do you need to unblock it if you want to add another “appliance” or teach it additional IR commands?
Nope you can talk to it on your local network just fine. It doesn't need internet access to work!

Great article, Aaron! How do you block your Broadlink RM Mini’s internet access? Also, are you able to do Node-RED automations based on triggers from Wyze Sense devices?
Thanks! I blocked it in my home router. And yes the Wyze sensors have been great and I can create automations in node-red from them!

For those waiting for my video on ATEM Mini + Epiphan Webcaster X2, apologies for the delay. I'm having hardware issues and awaiting replacement X2. Also have discovered an anomaly with the ATEM and am waiting for response from BMD. Christmas+NewYears slowing all of this down too

A solid 4 of the 30 various tech boxes I've kept for 20 years were useful in our move. Hoarder, my ass!
How many of those boxes were full of IDE/SATA cables? I finally got rid of mine last year. -
Just published two minimal packages to help building micropub applications!
The first one is called micropub-parser and it's basically a port from @aaronpk's pk3-micropub package to JavaScript.
The second one is a small IndieAuth middleware that can be easily plugged into an Express.js app!
