@PolYAMLglot funfact: the finnish word for man „mies“ also exists in german. The german word „mies“ is an adjective which is used to describe when something is bad / something sucks 🌚🙈

Users with iOS13 are about to be rightfully disgusted by how often Facebook spies on their location, so here’s a desperate shit sandwich from the company to excuse the gluttonous tracking.

You know when there's so many things you want to do/be successful at but you can't do all of them at once so you either don't do them at all or pursue them in obsessive bursts and then immediately drop em

What’s funny is the people who, every time I’ve done this, think it’s the original stream and yell at me to shut the hell up. Those are the best ;-)

Not sure I follow. Do you mean parody/fair use? (Isn't the right to make derivative works one of the exclusive rights of copyright?)
    Aaron Parecki
oops yeah that's what I meant. The point is it's not just a rebroadcast, since his stream has its own personality and original content, nobody is gonna watch his and think it's the real Apple stream. Still not a battle I'd want to fight.

Yep, exactly what I was thinking for next time. Still a bummer though.
    Aaron Parecki
Yeah, especially because by most reasonable arguments yours would be considered a derivative work, and not subject to takedowns, but that sounds like not a fun argument to have with Apple/YouTube

yikes… well I guess I won't be doing this again! What a bummer… was fun while it lasted!
    Aaron Parecki
I'd happily leave your commentary in one tab and the Apple stream in another! I'm sure it'd be close enough in sync to work. As long as you aren't rebroadcasting their audio/video it'd be fine.

I didn’t watch the #AppleEvent but I think Apple just won the event camera game.

Most people (even news organizations) cover events like CES with phones and now you can do multiple camera angle with one shooter and one phone.

    That’s insane 🤯
