@aaronpk How're you liking Simple so far? I signed up for an invite a while back but haven't gotten in yet.
    Aaron Parecki
@nickcummings It's cool, it's a nice interface. Not sure it lives up to 2 years of anticipation tho :)

@aaronpk Ever encounter a 1st party JS apps using the password grant type? Not sure how one would validate the req/client (no client_secret)
    Aaron Parecki
@swishstache Yea you can't validate with secret, so you just have to use password grant with no secret in that case. http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-oauth-v2-31#section-4.3.2

@daltonc Do you see app.net as a distribution platform or an app? I see a lot of focus in your posts about the app side of it.

@aaronpk but it's also why I pay an extra $30 / year for the "Packrat" feature which I've used twice already (due to intentional deleting)

    Aaron Parecki
@brennannovak Are you *sure*? Because I wouldn't have known except that I went looking for one thing in particular and it was gone!

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
