Collecting lots of feedback on tastes in software update. Will write about it later rather than incessant Tweets. Interested in preferences.
    Aaron Parecki
@BenWard I can't stand auto-installs or things that force me to restart. Often I have a lot of windows and programs open for tasks I'm doing

@mdusing Yea! We've been keeping it sort of quiet so far, haven't made any big announcements until we work out a few bugs.

Man, Twitter search is screwy tonight. Lots of random (and somewhat semi-related) tweets appearing in all my search feeds. #annoying

I think I'm on five different operating systems right now. I'm curious, how many are you on?
    Aaron Parecki
@rwwmike You have me beat! I usually hang out on OS X, Windows 7 and Fedora on a regular basis.

Funny how clearly and accurately describing the problem often leads you directly to the solution.

.@aaronpk hrrmm. disagree, somewhat. i bought one of these for my trip last year & found you need a damn laptop w/ wifi everywhere you go.
    Aaron Parecki
@yuetsu Well it does need a known wifi spot or tethered to a laptop. Very useful around the house tho, *snap* and posted to flickr.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
