@aaronpk Certainly! Why can't people access the API directly, though?
@sleary If you created a delicious account after Yahoo bought it, you don't have a user/pass to access the API directly. Needs to OAuth.

@pat_ramsey Wordpress comes with a "Press This" FF bookmarklet. I currently use it for quickly adding things to a private WP install.

@aaronpk WP prob a bit overkill if just for links though. lately, i just use pinboard.in (antisocial) and twitter itself.
@sull It sort of seems like overkill, but OTOH I'm more hesitant to install unfamiliar software like scuttle. -
I just realized the thing I'm going to miss most about Delicious is the automatic tag suggestions.

@chrisorourke It uses Flash to make the audio connection, so prob not mobile Safari. It should work on Android browsers tho.

Thinking a Wordpress install with a simple theme could serve well as a self-hosted Delicious replacement.

@aaronpk I used to have an open source Delicious clone running on a local install. I might have to revisit that and figure out what it was.
@erinjo Sounds neat. Actually I bet a Wordpress install with a carefully-crafted theme could function much like a personal Delicious. -

@maxticket Exports to an HTML file that can be imported into browser bookmarks. There's also lots of meta info in the file.
