Oh wait was it a twitter account and not a website? https://www.boredpanda.com/famous-movie-color-palettes-cinemapalettes/

It’s @ShotDeck Someone beat me to replying with the name. It’s awesome!
    Aaron Parecki
I don't think so? This one focused mainly on the color palette in scenes, not the cinematography.

Film folks… I’ve seen a website that breaks down the color palettes of famous films. I’ve found a few on google but none are what I’ve seen before and for the life of me I can’t remember what it was called. So… what are your favorite sites for analyzing film color palettes?
    Aaron Parecki
wow I know the one you're talking about but I also can't find it!

@aaronpk surprised / disappointed blue sky didn't use IndieAuth rather than DNS records ...
    Aaron Parecki
I think the DNS verification makes sense for this step, but they should absolutely use IndieAuth/OAuth for logging in to client apps instead of the password auth they currently have.

I think someone could get 100,000+ Subscribers easily just teaching people about the ACA (Affordable Care Act), Health Insurance in general, and policies and plans around this as well as covering any and all news updates around legislation that impacts healthcare coverage, and… https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1651730704064032768

Does OAuth2 have a usability problem? (yes!)

    Aaron Parecki
Great post! I agree that OAuth 2.1 isn't the end of the story, but hopefully it's a step in the right direction. Once we finish that up, I would definitely be interested in seeing what we can do to further simplify things.

One other thing to note is there's the FAPI working group (in the OpenID Foundation), which is creating profiles of OAuth+OIDC that do actually dictate a lot of the constraints you mentioned here. Part of the confusing thing is that the work is happening in OpenID rather than IETF, so it's technically a bit broader than just OAuth.

@aaronpk We have three and it’s just right, though the size of the property and placement of gardens will matter. Wherever you put them, make sure you can readily access shutoff valves, which you want even for frost-free faucets.

    Aaron Parecki
ok I just learned about frost-free faucets and that is super cool. Why do I want shutoff valves also?

    @aaronpk @hawaiiboy @circustiger @tracydurnell These are the best hoses I’ve ever had.

    Aaron Parecki
I'm so glad hose technology has improved in the 15 years since I last bought a hose!

Why do stopped escalators feel so different from stairs?
    Aaron Parecki
I'm pretty sure stopped escalators aren't actually stopped, they are moving very slowly in reverse

@aaronpk sweet. Another suggestion that we are super very happy with: put outlets in corners high up inside the house for Sonos everywhere :)

    Aaron Parecki
nice, was definitely planning on high up outlets. I've still never actually used Sonos before but I keep hearing good things. I'm usually skeptical of things that feel proprietary like it, but maybe it's ok?

@aaronpk at least 2 in polar opposite locations! Depending on the footprint of your build, you may want one per compass point.

Pro-hack: I had friends run both hot and cold water to their garage interior. LOTS of interesting possibilities with that one! Utility sink, bike/car washing, etc.

    Aaron Parecki
Yeah! The contractor suggested running hot water to one of the outdoor ones near where we're going to store bikes!

@aaronpk we built a house 3 years ago. I wished I had placed more outdoor faucets and more outdoor outlets. Also, if you are doing new construction, plan ahead for power for mounted spot lights and/or cameras around the outside of the house.

    Aaron Parecki
Yep, new construction! And yes I am absolutely filling it with cameras and lights!

@aaronpk Hadn't previously thought about this but this comes to my mind!

Enough locations where you can reach most areas around the house with a 25ft or 50ft (depending on which you want to wrangle) hose.

    Aaron Parecki
Good point! I don't really want to carry around a 50' hose so I should double check 25' everywhere.

@aaronpk In your defense you are most authoritative on the many subjects upon which you expound. I'm thinking back to the episode on ContentID fer' instance. 😄

@scottjenson I’m a jaded man who sees the worst in everything. I’m letting myself enjoy Picard. I deserve a small reason to smile in this horrible world.
    Aaron Parecki
I agree! I am really enjoying the latest season. Is it fan service? Maybe! Are they making it with the full blessing and budget of the network? Yes! Has technology gotten a lot better in 40 years and now the show is a lot prettier than it was originally, yes! I think it's great that the original cast can come together to remake this with modern technology!

    Habanero Hot Sauce

    Aaron Parecki
    Made 116oz hot sauce!

Had to add a bit more water to get it to come to pressure but then it worked great, and after some blending, is a great consistency.
