Weird, complete opposite for me!

I've presented it at a couple past IETF meetings, but it hasn't received much interest there. Most of the work on it is now happening at https://financialdataexchange.org

#OperationNoJetlag update: managed to stay up until about 10pm last night and then got really really tired while watching a movie. Fell asleep and stayed asleep until about 6am! Got up and had a normal day, went on a walk in the morning and bike ride in the afternoon. I was hungry at lunch time and again at dinner time so I'm pretty sure that means I did it!

The last SEA->PDX leg went smooth. The flight is so short there's no time to get out a computer or anything, so I ended up napping during takeoff for about half the flight, so like 20 minutes. Now it's 7:30 and I'm not about to fall asleep anymore, so I hope I don't regret that nap.

Next up in the #OperationNoJetlag plan is nachos for dinner and staying up until at least 9:30pm

My last meal (other than airplane pretzels and chips) was lunch at the beginning of the LHR->SEA flight which was around 7am local time. I wanted to save room for dinner but also wanted to eat a full meal before bed to get my stomach back on this time zone too.

For sure! I lucked out and had the whole row both directions!

The slowest part of the whole thing was literally just getting out of the plane! Breezed thru border control with Global Entry, and no checked bags. I had to go back thru security and my boarding pass originally didn't have precheck so I asked them to reprint my boarding pass which totally worked! Sailed thru security and made it to the gate and only half the plane had boarded already!

Landed in Seattle! The flight was comfortable but we landed about 30 minutes late and now I have only 25 minutes to get through border control and security!

aaaand boarding is complete and it looks like I have the row to myself!

Apparently Apple doesn't understand timezone changes very well.

Just boarded the plane from London to Seattle. It's also late enough in Seattle that I am now switching my clocks to Pacific time, so now it's 6:15am. That means I'm pretending I just woke up and am going to try to have a normal day starting now. #OperationNoJetlag

I'm at the gate at LHR now and the automated PA announcement just said "for security reasons, unattended luggage will be removed and destroyed."

And then repeated the announcement in German, and then I learned a cool new word, "vernichtet"

Apparently my 75K Alaska status converts to OneWorld Emerald so I get access to the fancy British Airways lounge! Not going to argue with that!

Nothing here is self service, you have to order on your phone using the QR code on the table, and you have to give it a code word that's shown on signs around the lounge, which is a clever solution to avoid people ordering random things to be sent to random tables after they leave.

Made it to London. Closed my eyes for about 5 minutes during takeoff and landing, can't say I was totally asleep tho. Now to go find the airport lounge since I have about 2 hours at LHR

Oh they have sparkling wine in the lounge, it's never too early for a mimosa!

Airport security line was ridiculously long and there was no priority lane. Made it through after about 30 minutes. No line for the foreign passport check so that was a breeze. Now at the Open Sky lounge to get some coffee

Gonna just keep posting travel updates in this thread why not

Overall it took more time to find this place and book an appointment online than it took to get here on the train and do the actual test and get back to the hotel.

Might want to check out Companion https://bitfocus.io/companion/ which can control OBS and much more with a Stream Deck. I run it on a raspberry pi to control a bunch of devices on my network.
