My main usage of it is as a GPS logger that I have total control over - I start an "outdoor walk" any time I'm out somewhere interesting and export the GPS points from the iPhone Health app later - 2.5m points and counting!
    Aaron Parecki
What kind of resolution does that give you? I've still been running my iOS app for years because it's the only thing I've found that can track continuously and also give me 1 second resolution during transit

I told my kids about the high frequency sound they used to play outside Block E to keep teenagers away, and we went and looked up what it sounds like.

My 20 year old and I couldn't hear it. My 14 year old was like OW IT HURTS TURN IT OFF 😳

Any plans on releasing a white version so it matches the rest of the gear in my studio? 😍

It seems having a YT video as β€œmembers only” then releasing it public is a BAD strategy. It feels like it’s being treated like a week old video with the few members views it had, instead of a new video.
    Aaron Parecki
oof that's rough. Would an unlisted video with a members-only community post linking to it work instead?

I would also expect our implementation to be 2.1 compliant relatively easily. We are already adopting most of the changes or are in progress of doing so 🀞
    Aaron Parecki
Excellent! My main concern is exactly that. I'd be happy to take a look at it and provide feedback!

The race is on now, which will be finished first? OAuth 2.1 or Twitter's OAuth 2.0?

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. If I were designing something doing financial transactions (@paypal, @stripe, etc.), I would have been very nervous about this, but apparently that was not the case?
    Aaron Parecki
This is exactly why the financial industry is moving to private-key-based authentication with OAuth extensions like FAPI. It hasn't hit the consumer-facing financial APIs like PayPal/Stripe yet, but it's becoming more normal in the backend of these systems.

An email I just received prompted this tweet. What's the consensus on NAB? Are you still not going? Yes, you. Right there. Reading this.

As I said, I like the experience, & talking to different companies, but if not many creators will end up there, I'll definitely take a pass.
    Aaron Parecki
I have flight and hotel booked but refundable. Currently planning on going as long as things don't change too much for the worse in the next couple weeks.

I still want it to be the regular behaviour, but you can long press the share button in Twitter to get a system share sheet

The NFT thing is happening. I’ve minted an image, will mint a series, and will start by giving some away on Twitter, then holding a contest, then giving some more away on my next live show… THEN I’ll actually try to sell some! πŸ˜‚

So what I'm hearing is this requires a marketing campaign to be successful πŸ‘»

Batteries are where I started! I needed something that could last 3 days for PG&E outages. The battery tech is just not there (would have been very expensive). So I got a generator. The solar is grid-tied and is purely to zero out my yearly power usage, not a backup to the grid.
    Aaron Parecki
That makes sense! Up in PDX the longest I've been without power is about 6 hours so far. I can't imagine 3 days!

Mostly picked a local company that looks promising, then trusted their advice. Once I decided not to do a battery it got very simple; basically which kind of panel and how many of them.
    Aaron Parecki
Why'd you end up going with no battery?

Apparently posting two possible thumbnails for your upcoming video is the new way to say β€œwatch my video” without saying β€œwatch my video”.

Probably works better than what I’ve been doing!
