Yeah that’s the challenge… you get three YouTubers asking for this and suddenly you’re paying more than you were for premium. What’s your sub count? You have to ASK for membership ability.

They say 30K is the minimum to qualify in their docs, but they've been reaching out to other people (myself included) who are way under 30K offering it. I haven't decided if I'm gonna go that route yet either tho.

Someone tells you “Hey, there’s an awesome BBQ place about 1 hour from you” ... you’re intrigued and want to go sometime / someday... maybe 1-3-6mos from now. What’s your workflow for remembering this? Or are you fine just letting the recommendation fade away?

I know I'm probably the outlier here, but I legit do go and add it to a list on Foursquare 😂

Doesn’t help you get to San Diego any faster though.

Not like we can travel right now anyway. tbh if they made a flight simulator which was just waiting in a boarding line and sitting in planes I'd play the crap out of that right now.

There’s ongoing costs, too. You can’t just /keep/ a pilot’s license. You have to use it. If you don’t fly a minimum number of hours a year, you lose it. So you’ll have to rent planes.

Lots of pilots sell “at cost” trips to travelers to fund their hours.

Yeah that's why I'm thinking this simulator idea isn't so far fetched 😉

How did you master an ATEM mixer if it wasn't for doing the hours of practical work?

Say that gives me an idea... ATEM Simulator... you have to live switch an event and you lose points for every cut you mess up 😂

😂😂😂 thank goodness no. I got a T.Flight Hotas One for retail price, but I started going down the rabbit hole of looking at custom chairs and monitor mounts and it goes deeeeep

Why just settle for a tool that allows you to live in a room, rather than go explore the real world? Simulators have their place, especially in ground-school applications to explain flight concepts to newbies and re-qualifying pilots.

Because I've always wanted to fly a plane but that seems like a terrible idea for a number of reasons

I've been using Windows primarily for my video editing for a few weeks now. The ONLY major complaint that I can't figure out a work around for is you cannot set screenshot to autosave.

You HAVE to take the screen shot, then click on the preview, then click on save and save.

omg this was also my biggest frustration! It's not a lot, but that extra time does add up trying to add screenshots into a video!

I've understood that you have to have the Skype watermark on when using NDI, but I can't find any documentation to back that up, other than a Skype TX document (which this isn't; it's "Skype for Creators"). You can't turn it off but it's easily cropped. Is it REQUIRED to have on?

as far as I can tell it's also governed by their "Broadcast Terms of Service" here https://www.skype.com/en/legal/broadcast/

"any use of Skype software in a Program (as defined below) for Broadcast (as defined below) shall be subject to these Broadcast TOS"

I'm a fan of @1password, been using it for a few years now. Unique random passwords for each service. The only thing on my wishlist is that 1Password could generate passwords with words that also include caps and numbers cause some sites still have these requirements.

It's okay. There's nothing shameful about that.
Most programmers aren't writers.
Just like most writers aren't programmers.
I can't code to save my life, but I can write some killer copy and content.

@aaronpk I'm working my way through your Atem Mini videos and I'm wondering have you covered a workflow that would allow for replays? I'm using the AMP for live streaming local sports and it would be great to be able to add replays

I haven't talked about it much since I usually don't have a need for that, but if I did mention it at all it would be in the Hyperdeck livestream!
