No not for me, it’s a fine camera but I’m starting to get to the point where I prefer certain color sciences because they just work without much effort.
    Aaron Parecki
oh I was asking if you have one you're gonna sell!

Ok just made a pretty sizeable camera/lens purchase so it might be time to unload some other gear.

I’m going to take today to come up with what I’m selling so be prepared for a fire sale in the next day or two.
    Aaron Parecki
Dropping a BMPCC4K perhaps? The updated ATEM Mini software has me wanting one, but not at the full price!

Nice! And, speaking of, how booked are you in the near-to-medium term for training gigs? Interested in discussing a new one?
    Aaron Parecki
I'm usually pretty booked up 2-3 weeks out, but always happy to talk about lining something up!

And, regarding your new studio setup: I had to freeze frame and investigate. I recognized it immediately as the *same dang thing* I want to do in my home studio after I’ve finished the remodel!

Did you source your inspiration from the same place as me!? (Second photo)
    Aaron Parecki
Sure did! @calebpike's video came in super handy when I needed to make an emergency studio to host all my workshops from after I had to cancel a dozen trips!

@aaronpk hey, saw your video on the DIY multiview solution for the ATEM mini. Will try to do that myself. Saw some other content where colors looked bad, maybe the multiviewers fault, maybe the splitters. Have you had inconsistencies? Anything noteworthy?
    Aaron Parecki
I was having some weird colors going through some splitters, depending on the HDMI source too. But in any case it's all irrelevant because Blackmagic just announced the ATEM Mini Pro with multiview built in!

I now have a battery-powered, Wi-Fi connected, Siri-enabled digital status sign on my office door. I'll post some pictures, videos, and details later, but its pretty awesome to be able to say "Hey Siri, don't bother daddy!" 🙅🏻‍♂️
    Aaron Parecki
That was fast! How'd you do it?

@aaronpk ah so it's just easier but it would have worked in theory?

    Aaron Parecki
I probably could have made it work, but it was a lot easier to do it server side especially cause then I can make changes without re-flashing the firmware.

@aaronpk Oh I didn't know you needed to have a picture. For my LCD I just put text on from my Arduino https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxfWSBsTZ5E&t=2s

    Aaron Parecki
Not really full pictures, but there are some lines and background colors. It's more like I didn't want to deal with parsing the JSON response and the text/graphics libraries in the limited esp32 environment.

I’m in the market for a battery-powered, Wi-Fi connected programmable sign. I want to attach it to my office door so that I can tell my family (well, mostly my kids) when its OK to enter, and when I need silence. Any ideas?

@aaronpk Is a RPi really necessary? I was somehow hoping that a small e-paper one would work with a small ESP8266 like:

    https://blog.squix.org/2017/02/esp8266-peripherals-2-7-epaper-display.html

    Aaron Parecki
I made a travel version of this running on an esp32 with an epaper display! The main difference is for the esp32 version I have to generate the image on a server and download a bitmap to write. With the Pi, I generate the image on the Pi in python.

Shooting the keynote all at home I've turned into a mini vlogger. I have a high def @LogitechG logitec web cam, I can make my @DJIGlobal gimble shoot landscape mode! I've mastered quicktime player! I can make myself look decent on a webcam. (tough to do)
    Aaron Parecki
Somebody get this man a better camera!
