It only took Apple 10 years to offer an option to have a second SIM in a phone.

This is way more than a second SIM tho! I don't actually need two active SIMs in parallel, and happily swapped my SIM for a local one when traveling, but this is just so much easier now!

@aaronpk Prague public transport is super easy and dead cheap but also unless you're going somewhere really far away it's extremely walkable..

Yeah I'm just trying to get in to town from the airport right now. I'm gonna be at the IETF meeting tomorrow and will just be walking around the area after that ☺️

Oops this has been happening lately! My Fitbit syncs in the middle of the night when my cat wakes me up for food and then my website thinks it's a complete record. I need to fix my import to check for updated records on Fitbit!

Is there any kind of JS+PHP "standard" for doing auth without ever sending any kind of replayable credential to the server? Something like a SCRAM conversation? Been thinking about ways of never allowing servers to see a plaintext password, and thus be unable to be compromised.

This sounds like exactly what WebAuthn is for, and even better, it's already implemented in browsers and available as a JS API!

A little note that a lot of your mapping posts seem to show up like this in Monocle. Nonetheless, I’m sure you’re having fun!

Is there supposed to be an image there? Anyway I've noticed that too. It's a problem with the map provider that Monocle uses. I'm going to have to switch it out for a different one clearly!
