Hi, Aaron! I tried it and I'm getting this response on the site now: "Your account is currently being checked every 24 hours. Your account was last checked 6 days ago and will be checked again in just now."

@aaronpk is this meetup recurring, by any chance? i didn't know about it until it was already happening 😭
Wow! That wasn’t what I was expecting to see on my feed today! Have fun!!
I can’t make it to the Micro.blog Homebrew Meetup or to @monteiro’s talk tonight. I’m having a bout with hay fever that I hoped would settle down. Instead, my neighbor just started mowing the lawn. 🤧 💊💊
Today’s lesson brought to you by echo '<pre>' . print_r($commits_response['0'], true) . '</pre>';
never once thought to wrap the output in pre tags before seeing it today.
@simonmumbles I didn't ask. I view the audio snippets like a block quote. For me to be comfortable with it the length should feel equivalent to quoting 2-3 sentences out of a blog post.
@manton If I remember my journalism classes correctly (15 years ago), you can use up to 60 seconds as Fair Use.
@vishae I think there are problems right now with OwnYourGram and Instagram. My verification has stopped working in the last couple of days too. Perhaps @aaronpk could help.
I found that I have so many channels in my IndieReader that it was starting to create stress when I opened it. So I’m testing out viewing only channels with new content. Eventually this will be a filter setting you can quickly switch back and forth between
What I don't understand: let's say I write a new issue with Quill and somehow get an issue title and markdown support. When this entry gets posted via Micropub to my website and webmentions are mentioned to https://brid.gy, how can Brid.gy convert the HTML from my entry back to Markdown in Github? Does it do that, or is there some other magic going on.
I like the idea of giving the community the ability to help with this. That also happens to be the easiest thing to implement. Loqi now has a new !kick
command.
!kick
command!kick foobar
to kick that person from the room, but only if they joined less than 5 minutes ago@aaronpk Now I am getting more excited about this... One of your songs is an inspiriation for a name for my potential podcast......
