@benwerd That's awesome, but the demo is broken! Browsers won't give access to the location APIs w/o SSL anymore and there's no cert!

Anyone know of good open source time tracking software? Preferably web server + app. I’m using Toggl at the moment, but would love to self host and am amazed that the only projects I can find are very old and rather clunky looking.

Toggl is the best one I've found as well, been using it for a while now.

I'm using Invoice Ninja for sending out invoices and collecting payments, and they recently added a time tracking feature. I haven't used that feature myself, but it's something to look into

yes, they are still a thing. If they are being used or not … I find that to be a case-by-case basis. Docs haven’t been updated in YEARS!

@anotheruiguy which docs were you looking at? There's been lots of updates in the last few years, e.g. https://microformats.io

Good to know. We did spend about $15k but that was for three stages and including audio systems (for attendees) for each stage

@edolnx including audio that's pretty good. I'll be curious to read your follow-up post after you've tuned the system a bit more!

@aaronpk You've been tracking your location for yrs. Have you written anything about whether this info can remain private, and how does Google, or anyone, make money off your own location tracking? Is Big Brother watching & should we care?

I don't usually get into that side of things. Too little actual information available.

Neat! We make heavy use of compositing and on-screen graphics so I don't know if it would be a good solution for us, but thanks for sharing.

@edolnx and if you're talking about spending ~$15k then you can probably afford one of the fancier BMD ones for even more layer support!

@edolnx You can use a dedicated computer just for titling and then green-screen it onto the video! I'd take a look at the Blackmagic one.

Installing now! Very excited. Love @RideReportApp, but want multimodal & refuse to reinstall FB Moves app since they lied about sharing data

@karabaic uhoh I hadn't heard about Moves. The only downside with this app is 1) trip tracking is manual, and 2) it's BYOB.
