@aaronpk Hey Aaron> In 2 YR location mapping, did you ever forget and let the battery run down? <frm convo abt U | too lazy 2 read CNN
    Aaron Parecki
@PDXsays Carrying a backup battery helps, also save battery by turning off the GPS if not going to be moving around for several hours.

@PDXsays I only ran out of battery a couple times, mostly on days I was out the entire day walking around. Once in SF, once in NY.

One week in, and the game board is already epic. Here's the 10,000 foot view: http://bit.ly/a1H7w2
    Aaron Parecki
@scrabb_ly That's awesome! I'd love to see an animation of the board over the last week!

6:03 PM. The time when the sun starts shining through the un-curtained windows in my office straight into my eyes. #duckbehindthemonitor
    Aaron Parecki
@thisKat Ah yes, that happens to me around 4pm. I seriously need to get blinds or something.

For a domain junkie type i'm not very interested in .CO TLD. Am I wrong? I'd grab one for my company just to have it but othewise. meh.
    Aaron Parecki
@sull I agree. Maybe because ".co" kind of looks like a typo of ".com"

Imagine if Gmail allowed users to specify a callback url on filters. i.e. sms me if new message is labeled "work emergency" via a filter.
    Aaron Parecki
@sull Yea! You can sorta do that now by forwarding email to a script. I get SMS notifications of Paypal transactions that way.

    I spy at @backspacepdx: @caseorganic, @tylergillies, @neddotcom, @theory, and probably more are hiding…
    Aaron Parecki
@reidab Did you just "check in" @caseorganic @tylergillies @theory @neddotcom to @backspacepdx on Twitter? I thought that's what FB is for.

Is there such a thing as a digital sticky note app, where you can create note and arrange them however you like?
    Aaron Parecki
@thisKat OSX has "Stickies" built in, Windows 7 comes with "Sticky Notes". What platform are you asking about?

@aaronpk prob true. if done, would be best to have a separate stream view so you can dip in and out. maybe filter by date as well.
    Aaron Parecki
@sull If I wasn't in the middle of a super busy week I would totally build that right now.

based on favorites, retweets, replies. bubble up my favorite users, optionally. new stream or whatev.
    Aaron Parecki
@sull ...since you'd be exposed to a smaller and smaller sample size of your entire Twitter stream over time.

    Aaron Parecki
@sull although come to think of it, that would have a compounding effect of continually narrowing your list of favorite people...

priority inbox- maybe twttr should do something similar. add 'like' button for each tweet. algorithmically tell me which users i like best.
    Aaron Parecki
@sull That's probably the best idea I've heard yet. I've been using the "favorite" feature a lot recently, would like to see the stats!

I totally suck at sending actual snail mail, so I've been using this Snailmailr thing - http://snailmailr.com/
    Aaron Parecki
@caseorganic Someone should make an API for that. An API to send snail mail!
