What's with the booms in PDX? I just heard a big one in Ladd's. Sounded like fireworks, not a gun.

To travel websites who can't parse dates like '8/20' into the needed format: your website is your business. WTF? Spend a day & implement it.

@incanus77 True, but you also have to consider internationalization, where a date like 7/5/10 is ambiguous - July 5th or May 7th
