@aaronpk How do you adjust radius in geonote? For instance, to select all of Portland?
    Aaron Parecki
    @chuckthorris Just added a "city" zoom level with a 6km radius #geonotes #arconf

@mdusing The system is experimental at the moment, but all you'd need is a way to log GPS coordinates, iPhone, prepaid Boost phone, etc.

So, who wants to port this over to PHP? http://is.gd/bB9Sg
    Aaron Parecki
@TechWraith writing OAuth code is not my favorite, but that would be awesome to have a PHP version of that library.

Seems that #eCommConf is the official hashtag and not #eComm. Shorter hashtags are better, but so be it.
    Aaron Parecki
@jsgoecke IMO the "official" hashtag is the one that gets used more. So far the score today is: #ecomm 453, #ecommconf 20

@aaronpk .tel TLD is not a good example of URLs tpc.int is a more interesting solution #eComm
    Aaron Parecki
@kevinmarks You're right, I just meant as an easy way to build a contact card for email/phone/etc. I use http://aaron.pk as a portal. #ecomm

Cullen Jennings says there are only two successful unifying address schemes - email and telephone numbers #eComm not URLs? really?
    Aaron Parecki
@kevinmarks @jasonkolb Agreed. URLs are a great portal to other communication methods. The .tel TLD is a good example of this use. #ecomm

@kchrist You should say they'll spend as much money updating anything at all in its flat-file form as it would take to move to a CMS.

@StevenWalling But do you enter actual image paths in the DokuWiki flat files? Or is that kind of stuff managed by the wiki?
    Fri, Apr 16, 2010 12:02am +00:00
  • https://twitter.com/kchrist/status/12251782435
    Aaron Parecki
@kchrist Ah yes, that would be annoying. Of course, a site of just flat files would be annoying to maintain anyway.

@kchrist Best example is using the jQuery UI hosted by Google Code. You just point to the CSS and all the images come in automatically.
