  • I had a chance to try out the brand new Hollyland Cosmo C1 wireless HDMI/SDI transmitter while I've been in Düsseldorf! The new model is super low latency and has SDI in and out, so this will integrate great with my studio back at home too. Thanks to Hollyland for sending me to this to review! I'll be talking about it in more detail on my next livestream on Sunday!

  • It's here! I designed these stands to make it easier to use the YoloBox on a desk and to give you ways to attach accessories like wireless mics or HDMI receivers! The new PK1 stand for YoloBox and YoloBox Pro are available for preorders, shipping starting November 1! Available in both red and black for both YoloBox models! Visit https://pk1.tv/pk1-yolobox-stand/ for links to purchase!
  • I'm running a giveaway with @comica_audio for the new VDLive10 USB microphone! 🎙️ I demoed this microphone on my most recent livestream. It's a super cute dual capsule microphone, and has one special trick up its sleeve! The wireless mic transmitters are actually bidirectional, which means you can use it with Zoom! If you plug in headphones into the transmitter, you will both send your audio into Zoom, as well as hear the audio from the Zoom call! I was super surprised that this worked so well. The receiver connects via USB-C and works great with an iPad for recording on the go or using with video conferencing apps like Zoom! 🎁 Check out this link for how to enter the giveaway! It runs until I announce the winners on my livestream on October 25th! Thanks to Comica for sending me this mic to review and for sponsoring the giveaway!
  • First plot on my #AxiDraw was successful! This is a sha256 hash of my name, each ring represents 4 characters of the hash. A hash is a transformation of an arbitrary-sized value into another value of fixed size. Hash functions that are one-way, i.e. cannot be reversed, are the basis of modern cryptography and security on the Internet. Given this image, you wouldn't be able to reverse it to find out the original string, but every time I run the hash on the same string it will output the same value.
  • My first attempt at computational line art! This image is a representation of a sha256 hash of an input string, my name. Each ring represents 4 characters of the hash, and is the binary representation of the character's ascii value. The next step is to load this into my #AxiDraw and plot it on some actual paper!

  • I got @speedify running on a #YoloBox! Check out the link in my bio for the step by step how-to video! Why might you want to do this? Speedify lets you bond multiple internet connections for faster and more reliable livestreams, and since the yolobox has LTE, WiFi and Ethernet, it's amazing to be able to run Speedify directly to take advantage of all those connections at the same time! Thanks to @yololivtech for sending me these to review, and thanks to @speedify for the premium account to test this out! #livestream #yolobox #streaming #streamingsetup

  • Using the Sony ZV-1 as a top down camera today! Of course I don't trust it on USB power so I've got it connected with a DC coupler into the battery slot, which then means I need the extra bottom bracket to be able to leave the battery door open while it's also on a tripod screw. As much as I like this camera this is the most frustrating part about it! Check out this kit for a list of all the parts I used! https://kit.co/aaronpk/sony-zv-1-overhead-rig
  • My printers have been busy the last couple days! This is the complete #pk1stand lineup with both left and right Stream Deck attachments for both the 15-button and Stream Deck XL! We are still taking preorders of the MKII ATEM Mini stand along with the free custom name plate! Only a few more days to take advantage of this offer! https://pk1.tv

  • I'm still so excited to be able to offer these custom printed face plates for my #PK1Stand to you for no extra charge! If you buy the new PK1 Mark II stand during our preorder period, you can add on a face plate with your own text in it for no extra charge! Huge thanks to @yololivtech for sponsoring this deal! It wouldn't be possible without their support! The YoloBox and the ATEM Mini work great together giving you additional camera angles and audio processing capabilities beyond what the YoloBox can do itself, taking advantage of the YoloBox's all-in-one form factor for livestreaming on the go! Preorder your PK1 stand today from the link in my bio! #blackmagicdesign #yolobox #livestreaming #streamingsetup #livestreamer

  • First attempt at making a snap fit joint so I can make parts that move! It snaps together and definitely will not come out anymore, but also rotates smoothly! Looking forward to some interesting things I can do with this!
  • I moved my 3D printers to the kitchen where there is air conditioning and they are printing a lot better now!
  • 📍 Myoptic Optometry HQ
  • Successfully installed the LED light bars! Next up is designing a mount for the Raspberry Pi to attach to the back of the printer.
