Here are examples criminals are likely already considering:
    1. Find a tweet going viral quick
    2. Target that Twitter account to takeover
(Not all viral Twitter accounts or even verified Twitter accounts have MFA on, in fact few do)
    3. Change viral post to crypto scam
    4. Steal $$$

Much better visibility on a bike, travel at lower speeds, low chance of hitting and killing a pedestrian, no chance of T-boning someone and killing them, more convenient for drivers so they don’t have to wait forever for bikes to speed back up

If you think drivers hate bikes rolling through stop signs you should see how they feel about bikes that come to a complete stop at them.

data engineer for a music company: all the code I write is a means to an end.

the technology itself is not valuable, the effect (delighting customers; providing data for decision making; etc) is what's valuable. if I can achieve that without building something, that's preferred

Again this is not a call to bag on this streamer or the system in general. They are learning and refining. And EVERYTHING is better and more scientific than the ludicrous Nielsen system that drove TV programming for decades. Cynicism helps nobody. Behavior counts.

This will sound stupid (and it is) but if you are savoring a new show dropped on Netflix, if it’s all the same to you, please let the episodes play through right away so the completion is counted in a timeframe that is meaningful to the show’s success.

i think we should pay a bike tax when we register our cars... like straight up give more money to the city to build more bike infrastructure. Every person on a bike makes the system cheaper. It would save us money — and cause less potholes! — in the long run.
