As an elder millennial who came of age when Google became a verb, I had difficulty grasping that ~40% of Gen Zers use TikTok for search.

So I hosted a mini-focus group with Gen Zers to learn more.

Here are 3 takeaways:

so i made a lil #CSS library that allows you to implement a classic monochrome MacOS interface.

- $20.8k per month
- Which is $695/day
- Which is 7 customers at $99/each
- Which is 475 web visitors/day at 1.5% conversion

Mind you, none of this is easy.

But it's easier than staring $250k in the face with no plan.

All "decentralized" means to those people is "confuses regulators enough that I can do things that would otherwise be illegal and not get in trouble"

blockchain people not realizing git is already decentralized is funny but also incredibly sad and an indictment of their entire movement. they don't know anything about decentralization unless it's attached to a bitcoin fork they can try to profit off of

How to Monetize Twitter:

- Create useful threads that can grow your newsletter

- Promote your monetized platforms like YouTube and Twitch

- Promote hardware and software affiliate links or books/ audible

- Promote your own product or service

Today 43 Republicans voted to keep insulin at $1200/mo instead of $35. Tomorrow every Republican will ask you to be outraged that gas is $5 instead of $3.

In the GOP world, $1200 for life saving insulin in fair play but $5 for gas is an outrage.

Vote them all out.

Twilio published an incident here that used social engineering on employees to gain access to credentials then internal systems via SMS phishing. PHP has ALWAYS lived up to its role in my stack as the fast, conservative, ubiquitous platform that just works and needs no server babysitting.

PHP lets me sleep at night, spend time with my family, or go on vacation without worrying that it’ll fail.

It has never failed me.
