The facts that all of our human rights are held up by precedent and not codified laws should be the largest indication this system is a farce.

The other day I added up that a “typical” video takes somewhere between 17 and 20 hours from start to finish.

Very few free products would make that amount of time worth it.

Sweet, just gonna plan the video, write everything down, spend time shooting the b roll, shoot the talking head, reshoot some stuff, spend a bunch of hours editing the video, shoot the thumbnail, do the SEO, and then we’re done!
Is it worth it?

There should be a single word indicating “not surprised, but nonetheless disappointed”.

Just a reminder that you’re not reviewing a product if you’re getting paid for it. And calling it such is not only a massive disservice and misleading to your viewers - but to all the other reviewers whose jobs you make harder by muddying the waters.

It feels strange to make fun videos about A/V gear when people I love and care about, and even total strangers who I'll never meet, are losing basic human rights and don't know what to do.

I also don't know what to do, but at the very least I can say that it hurts my soul.

I've definitely been lurking on the likes. Some people forget that they're public so when I see they keep liking the "praise be to god" posts, it's pretty easy to tell how they feel about it.

Forced birth in a country with:

—No universal healthcare
—No universal childcare
—No paid family & medical leave
—One of the highest rates of maternal mortality among rich nations

This isn't about "life." It's about control.

No government, politician, or man should tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body. I want women in Canada to know that we will always stand up for your right to choose.

I stand in support of women, their right to choose for their bodies & anybody who stands for change against a broken system. I’ve never been political or vocal about my beliefs. But fuck this wholeheartedly. I am sorry to all the women in this country. You deserve so much better

Freedom means the ability to live your life as YOU choose – and that means you get to control your own body and your own health. It’s fundamental. This isn’t over.

Every age, every race, every education level, men and women *all* in total disapprove of revoking Roe vs Wade. Only explicit Republicans and Trump voters are in favor.
