For the Apple employees getting $1000 for a home setup (or anyone that cares about how they look)…

    Logitech Brio - $160
    Shure MV7 - $220
    (2) Nanlite 68 - $400
    Lastolite 6x7 - $160
    3 Light Stands - $60

Zoom fatigue is not about Zoom. It’s about bad audio and video.

Contrast in advice from leaders in Japan vs. UK in early March 2020

Japan: warning about poor ventilation, crowds, & vocalization in close proximity. Acknowledges uncertainty

UK (& USA): Wash hands, don't touch face. High level of certainty 2/

What turns me off the most is that web1 was about people being excited to share information in new (and free) ways, while web3 appears to be mostly about money and land grabs and gambling. It’s almost like web3 is the gross capitalist dystopian alternate ending to web1.

The web was already a massive decentralization compared to the "online services" model like Compuserve and Delphi.

Just implement many many good independent websites that aren't Facebook and Amazon.
