I miss when I was a teenager and the idea of building a website was super fresh, fun, and exciting because the internet wasn't then just four or five apps owned by billionaires, but billions of HTML websites run on Angelfire.

This looks like it's going to be more of a no go this year as time goes on.

People that I want to see aren't/can't go and I've already seen a company/ brand decide to not go.

Email works because it's the only common platform; it's federated and reasonably decentralized, and doesn't require terms of service consent to a 3rd party exchange messages. The same is true of SMS.

The west is still using QRCodes totally wrong. A QRCode on a restaurant table that opens the menu is not really what we want. A QRCode can be unique to the table and allow food ordering directly to it. Should carry state and context.

All camera apps can scan QRCodes. They all can open the web browser which all have payment methods build in now. The browser is the super super app. We
