There exists an exploitable SML2 glitch enabling mario to step out of bounds and into the ROM itself, and it's tear-sheddingly beautiful

When I was a teenager I wrote an implementation of the lightcycle game from TRON for CP/M. One of the cycles literally broke through a wall and escaped into system memory, crashing the system. Just like in the movie. I laughed SO hard when I realized what was going on.

This flew (pun intended) against conventional wisdom. Wald argued that planes that came back survived being shot in those places. Those planes that didn't...were shot in the clear places. This came to be known as an example of survivor bias.

I think my experiment in programmatic ads for my online community lasted a whole 4 days. User experience is not great despite only having 2 ad units, and discourse forums are not blocking ads for patrons as they're supposed to. Not worth the $200-$400 per month.

So, I’m taking the teensiest little baby steps towards creating a Micropub endpoint for my Hugo blog 🙈 So far, I can… authenticate, and submit content. The part where that content is actually saved anywhere or published, that’s still in progress. But it’s a start!
