Kudos to the department of computer science at U of Minnesota https://cse.umn.edu/cs/statement-cse-linux-kernel-research-april-21-2021 for their quick response regarding their researchers' conduct (reference: https://lwn.net/ml/linux-kernel/YH+7ZydHv4+Y1hlx@kroah.com/ ). I hope they can learn from other disciplines in improving how CS researchers approach working ethically with online communities.

Curious how lots of people who have a large financial stake in the value of Bitcoin all think there's no environmental problem with Bitcoin.

    Purely coincidental, I'm sure.

Podcasting as we've known it is dead, dying, or going through a renaissance, I'm not sure which.

First @Spotify announces it's breaking syndication formats; today @Apple announced its own premium podcast subscription.
