Hey developers, please stop disabling copy/paste in form fields! 🚨

    It’s awful UX.

    It’s confusing.

    It doesn’t improve security.

    It breaks password managers.

It risks typos on critical info.

If asked to do so, push back. Please don’t break the web.

Twitter should buy Grammarly and use it to make a “you sound like a shithead” message pop up _before_ hitting send.

Maybe even block it all together. We can do that with AI can’t we or can we just drive cars and shit?

    Hot take: Google Reader sucked.

It was far worse than other RSS readers of its day in features, navigation, appearance, and much more.

It dominated for two reasons: (a) it was free, and (b) it synced, in an era when most alternatives weren’t and didn’t.

    Now, they are, and do.

But this is exactly the issue with AI/ML they use existing data which reflect all the biases and prejudices of the human race and then bakes them in. It absolutely is Google's fault because they know, as do we all, that the data are biased and they need to do better.
