When I ask people what they would do with any amount of money, it usually comes down to spending it on things...

Not any intentional plan to use it as a tool for transformation and to actually change their circumstances.

Most aren’t sure what to change in their lives long term.

A message straight from Admiral Janeway (I’m pulling the big rank for this one): wear a mask! Humanity needs to take care of each other right now, which means wearing a mask to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The sooner we all mask up, the sooner we crush the curve & can...(1/3)

My bi-weekly post that Skype updated automatically and broke our system.

Tomorrow is our last Skype show (we’re moving to Zoom).

Makes me so happy to finally get to uninstall this complete piece of crap.

Good news, you won’t have to listen to me complain about Skype anymore.

I agree with that description of what happened. That said, I think the core problem today is that RSS/Atom alone is no longer enough for us. We want to read, like, and comment without bouncing from site to site. The indieweb community uses webmentions and webactions for this.

I just walked away from a big contract. Another brand wanting the right to takedown a video at any time in the future, for any reason. They said “many other influencers don’t mind” - who’s out here not reading their contracts and giving up this kind of power over your stuff? 👀
