I'd also expect someone (at least that I hired) to be able to tell me what the 'job' of Oauth is, and why people even use that. Or what services like Auth0 do. I'd expect them to follow best practices on the client, and properly defend against injection & proper accessibility

This happens to me constantly! I live in France and a word will either come out in German, Hungarian or Spanish before it comes in French and then, when I try to switch back to those others, French is all I can think of!
