I imagine it's an issue with hiring third party marketing agencies for things. Most large companies do that.

Yeah definitely could be that. Really you’d need to get someone from @SpotifyCares to confirm this is actually the PR agency they use. I’m pretty sure @snubs and I mentioned this in our video actually 😄

nice! i’m sure you learn stuff from work that you can utilize for your personal.

so far it's been mostly the other way around, but mainly because I did a big push on my personal channel while on PTO in December 😄 which paid off cause I went from 200 to 1500 subscribers in like 7 weeks 🎉

Y’all should look into git aliases. You write them in your home directory in a file named .gitconfig

That would require learning more git than I care to know 😄

But for real, that is cool though, probably a better long term solution.

Reasonably happy with my current “IndieWeb” setup, although I’ve deliberately not implemented things that are probably considered part of it—likes, replies, etc. (Also, not sure if I should be relying on 3rd-party [backfeed] services, and it ain’t exactly plug-and-play.)

This happens to me constantly! I live in France and a word will either come out in German, Hungarian or Spanish before it comes in French and then, when I try to switch back to those others, French is all I can think of!

wow I wish I could speak 4 languages! Still working on German, yesterday I managed to not speak any English in Germany 😄

Ahh this is something I’m personally wanting to. I was going to try to make it something like Eventbrite so people can build events and send RSVPs to it as well as comments and the likes. Also this video intro is excellent, gotta make it the norm on a Mr. Rogers kinda approach, lol.

Yeah totally! Built in RSVPs is definitely on the feature list, but there's so much to it before that's even relevant.

I'm glad you like the intro 😄 I'm in enough hotels these days to always be filming a new one too!

@aaronpk this was a fun video! But how did you not gas yourself with all those habaneros? I cook with them sometime but often end up coughing from fumes or burning on my skin just using one!?

Definitely had the windows open and the fan running the whole time. But I guess I also have a high tolerance? I eat habaneros for breakfast every morning 😄

@aaronpk that’s looking wondrous. Any tips on running it, or is it still too flaky?

"Flaky" isn't the word I would use, how about "experimental"? 😄 I've committed to using it every day for the last week or so, and even turned off a bunch of my IRC sources to force myself to use it. It is changing rapidly though as I keep adding features, so it's not exactly "stable."
