IndieWeb dev note: Microsub isn't a general-purpose storage API

    Aaron Parecki
Now that I'm thinking about this again, another totally different option is to add support for YouTube's special RSS stuff to the parser that Aperture uses to fetch feeds. Is that an ugly option? Yes. Would it work well? Yes.

NPR's analytics show that less than 2% of our traffic comes from Twitter. It's not a surprise to people who work in media, but even before the labeling saga, there was a pretty strong business case that the game wasn't worth the candle https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1646195092661891072

Today it is exactly 20 years that I have a blog.
My blog changed my life. It's how Redmond noticed me.
My unplanned move to the USA is what catapulted me into an entirely new socioeconomic bracket.
A momentous milestone, deserving a little reflection. 🧵

Your channel does the best when you double down on your proposition and your viewer avatar.

Your audience are streamers who want to go the next level.

I think there are more products you can review that are popular with streamers such as more of the @elgato products, also… https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1645808953551462405

Thanks! Lots to think about for sure.

What do you mean by "one-off videos"?

There's no way I can manage more than 1 vid a week right now, but I have been doing 1/wk consistently since January! Also been doing weekly streams to 100 plus since 2020 now!

Your audience are streamers who want to go the next level.

I think there are more products you can review that are popular with streamers such as more of the @elgato products, also budget products similar to how @tldtoday covered tech products at different budgets.

I also think you should be covering the software steamers use the most.

    Also I think 2x to 3x per week uploads or 100 videos a year…

Don’t make one off videos because you’re bored. If you want to do that make that for channel members only.

I also think maybe a once weekly Q&A stream to build community and to earn through super chats.

Yeah I mean that’s where all the hotels are. You’re fine if you walk east first. And most of the decent hotels are okay just a block from some dodgy shit. If you’re coming to down I would strongly recommend staying at Parker guest house or somewhere in Hayes valley…

oh cool I remembered wrong, I'm actually staying near Moscone, so probably fine I guess
