Nah this isn’t the right take. My entire career is based upon the very idea that tools got more accessible and easier to use by single artists than they ever were before, and as a result I was able to make some cool stuff!

More creators should consider what I call "platform arbitrage" by taking content that's already proven on more established platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn) and becoming the "first mover" in that niche/format on a newer platform with a rapidly growing user base (TikTok, Shorts).

The latest Twitter update that changed the Twitter logo to doge also broke retweets by removing the indicator of who retweeted them so now the Following twitter feed looks like it's full of random accounts.
